i started “attheshow.org” (later: “attheshow.at”) around 2002 after my bands (in the line of fire, worlds between us, on x point, later: anchors x up, new shit has come to light, black books) started playing shows in and out of town. first, it sure was some kind of fill-in between our own shows and curfew. later, as i started to took my camera on every show i went and show photography grew to some sort of addiction. back than, and even a lot more these days, browsing through all the pictures i took, i wouldn’t dare calling myself a photographer – in retrospective i would describe myself as some kind of annalist of a scene that tryed to document stuff that happend. spending that much time going to shows, more time working on the pictures seems now utterly mad. and it was. i dropped out around 2009, tired and burned, and took some time off to rearrange myself. now, nearly 8 years later i’m thankful for all the good memories, the great trips, friends i wouldn’t have meet without doing what i’ve done… so there are no hard feelings left, just tons of pictures.
